Clinical guidance

Our Maternity and Neonatal eHandbooks provide guidance for maternity services and special care nurseries.

Maternity eHandbook

The Maternity eHandbook provides clinical guidance for maternity clinicians caring for women during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. The pathways of care quickly acquaint maternity care providers with clinical scenarios and provide consistent and practical advice regarding assessment, management and escalation.

Neonatal eHandbook

The Neonatal eHandbook provides guidance for more than 90 newborn conditions for use by medical and nursing personnel working in special care nurseries throughout Victoria. They quickly acquaint health professionals with the clinical problem and provide consistent and practical advice regarding assessment and management.
